abelkhouche question : why was the Bible as if it is the Word of God edit
The Bible word is not even in the Bible, there begins the human dimension, as it can be said that its the word of God when they are altered by humans. The New Testament was written 200 years after Jesus died (as) and is in a language that he did not speak. Jesus did not even call himself a Christian (another production). In the Bible, Jesus predicted that PPL would love to be in vain, “In vain they worship me, teaching for doctrines of men.” This verse, Matthew 15:9. What is the only true one. Why are there so many errors in the Bible, it is probably not attributed to God (eg, contradictory verses II Samuel 6:23 Genesis 6:3 John 5:37). Finally, I do not understand how Christians can claim monotheism, when they worship Jesus and God, how can the Son of God, and God at the same time it is to be the greatest contradiction. Can a true believer asks God why he gave up, as he has to talk to God (if God hes). anyway not appear, as he prepared to die for my péchésMeilleure answer was:

Dude, you asked this yesterday and I told you the answers yesterday.
Repeating the same action expecting to get a different result is the definition of insanity.

If you really want answers, you need to unpack that and ask one at a time. So I will just start with the first. Scholars debate when the Gospels were written, but many give an earlier date than yours. CC Torrey, a professor of Semitic languages at Yale, argued a date no later than 50 AD.

not edited, translated, there is a big difference in those two words.
translated means that it was put into words that you could understand, from words that you couldn’t understand.
    apparently it didn’t work.
at least for some of you.

The only reason that the Holy Bible has been edited so much is that is to make it more readable for the common man to understand the full context of fhe Holy Bible itself. In the Roman Catholic’s New American Bible, there 9 or so books of the Holy Bible that are not recognized by the fundamentalist churchs elsewhere and then there is the book of mormon and the islamic bible, that may contain other books of the Holy Bible that are not standard fare. But the Holy Bible had been edited down to a standard OT and NT so the common man gets all the message of God and his holy son, Jesus Christ.

Wow! Good question and some good points. God loves people who ask tough questions. He wants us to “be discerning”.

The good news is that the bible hasn’t been edited much. Each book of the bible was from a manuscript that was faithfully copied, letter for letter from generation to generation. This was a Jewish custom. We’ve found ancient manuscripts that match word for word passages in the bible.

Much of the New Testament was written later, true. However, most of it was written within the lifetime of the apostles. We actually have more eyewitness evidence of the deeds of Jesus Christ than we do of Alexander the Great. Interesting, eh?

Keep in mind, too that the bible (from the greek “biblos” meaning “books”) was PUT TOGETHER much later based upon the manuscripts and traditions most followed by the Christians of the day- this would have been during the late Roman era (around 400 A.D.) so it would have been in their language (latin). The Old Testament, naturally, was in Hebrew, being a history of the Jews.

Rest assured, God’s message is clear for us today. The history of the nation of Israel that led to the messiah (Christ). The life and resurrection of the messiah. His promise to return and judge all the people of the earth.

Send me an email or IM if you’d like to talk further. Keep asking questions! :)

    People,people.
Every single translation has resulted in editing.
While I accept that the bible may be god-given for sake of discussion, if thats the case, then NIV cannot be.

God is not so stupid as to write contradictions & inaccurancies.
    Man is though.

Therefore, portions of the bible cannot possibly be of “GOD”.

The Bible has been translated in to different languages. The old Testament was written in Hebrew. The New Testament, however, was written in Greek. This seems strange, since you might think it would be either Hebrew or Aramaic. However, Greek was the language of scholarship during the years of the composition of the New Testament from 50 to 100 AD. Many Scholars have re-translated the bible for all of the different languages.
